What are Hemmorhoids?

Hemorrhoids (often known as Piles) are masses of tissues present in the anal canal. Surrounded by muscle and elastic fibres, these clumps contain blood vessels. Most people think that haemerroids are abnormalities in the anus. The reality is that haemmaroids are present in all human beings irrespective of age, sex and race, common in most. They are a part of the normal anatomy and physiology within the anal canal.
